APRIL SKIES - The first couple of weeks

It's been an exciting couple of weeks since the release of APRIL SKIES - the sequel to my debut novel ABIDE WITH ME

Just thought I'd round up everything that has been happening. Shortly before publication day, Elizabeth A White posted an article I'd written on her blog about the difficulties I had writing a sequel to ABIDE WITH ME. You can read it here

I'd also recorded a video with my publisher going round some of the locations in APRIL SKIES, and discussing their relevance to the book. You can view the video here

And some early blog reviews of APRIL SKIES have begun to appear - always something of an exciting prospect. The brilliant author and blogger, Nigel Bird, wrote a review of the APRIL SKIES here and the lovely Kath Middletion - editor, author, blogger, and Top 1000 Amazon reviewer, reviewed the book on her blog here

The official launch of APRIL SKIES will be at Dagenham Library on May 12th. Entry is FREE, but you do need to reserve a place. Details of the event, and reservation details, can be found here

I will also be signing books at the NEWHAM BOOKSHOP on May 7th. Details below:

Finally, there has been a hold-up on the paperback side of things, but I am told all is now well. Paperback editions of APRIL SKIES will be available to purchase from Amazon soon.
That being said, here's a little photo of the first look at the little beauties:

Anyway, that's it for now.

All that is left is to thank everyone that has supported me over the last few years. There are too many to mention by name, but thank you all :)

Also, if anyone has read APRIL SKIES, or even ABIDE WITH ME, and you feel up to writing an honest review of a couple of lines or so on Amazon, it really does help enormously.

Once again, thank you so much everyone.

Take care,

Ian
