OH, TO BREATHE AGAIN . . .

So, the kids are back at school.

The computer is mine.

At last.

So time for a catch-up.

ABIDE WITH ME 2 (still untitled) is chugging along nicely. I have decided to divide my writing time between AWM2, my English Degree (starting again next month), and attempting to write a screenplay for ABIDE WITH ME. The next module on the Degree course involves writing for television and radio, writing plays, and writing screenplays. All of these will be new to me, so I thought I'd try my hand it knocking something up for AWM. Never know, eh :)

A little while ago, I was asked if I could submit my story THE DROWNING OF JEREMIAH FISHFINGER to be included in a charity anthology being put together by Thomas Pluck, wherein all proceeds from the sale of the book go to PROTECT - a charity to combat the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse of children.

Full details of the anthology can be found here

With stories from George Pelecanos, Ken Bruen, and Tony Black, as well as a load of other top rated writers, this is surely a book worth supporting.

Please, if you can, have a think about downloading a copy or purchasing a paperback.

Thank you.

Next up, APOSTLE RISING by Richard Godwin is now available as an ebook. Here are a few links:

So, that's it for now. Hope to have a review of Les Edgerton's brilliant THE BITCH up on the blog tomorrow.

Look after yourselves everyone.

Best wishes,

Ian
