A word from Uncle Mildred . . .

Hello.  My name is Uncle Mildred.  I can see you're a bit . . . uncomfortable.  Shifting.  In your seat.  No need, my dear.  I won't.  BITE.

I just want a word.  That's all.
I want to tell you about my friends.  Well, not friends, exactly.  More . . . people I know.  Not even that, some of em.  Some of em are just stories I been told.  Stories I've heard.  Some of the individuals I don't even know their names.  They won't tell me, see.

They won't tell me . . .

But some of em will.  Sort of.  After a while, you know.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to introduce em to you.  There's George and there's Archie, and Charlie and Jonathan.  Ethel, Len, David, and Steven.  And of course, lest I forget, the lovely Mr Livingstone.  And a gentleman calling himself The Surf Rider.  He's a little pussy cat, when you get to know him.  Honest.  A little pussy cat.

See, they're the nice ones.  Sort of.

The ones what ain't got no names, the ones that won't tell me, they're the ones you gotta watch . . .
