ABIDE WITH ME update 5/8/11

Well, things are cracking on a-pace.  A couple of days ago, the final proof-read manuscipt was sent to the publisher, who will soon be laying the book out and preparing it for publication.  Got to thank my lovely proof-reader, the lovely Julie Lewthwaite for help invaluable help.  She's made the book twenty per cent better than it might have been, in my opinion.

And I've recently heard I've been included in the East London Libraries Festival - running from Sept.16th to Oct.16th later this year.  My first booked event is a talk to the South Hornchurch Library Reading Group, plus possibly something else in another borough.

This is my first confirmed public event, and I'm proper excited.

If any of you are on Facebook, and want to follow the details of the Festival programme as they emerge, just search for 'East London Libraries Festival' and do that little 'like' thingy.

Your support for the Festival would be very much appreciated.

Everything still on track for the launch of the book, then.  And I'm hoping to announce some VERY big news very soon.

Blimey :)
