ABIDE WITH ME - Here we go . . .

Well, with the release of my debut novel 'Abide With Me' just a few months away, things have started moving.  Being someone never comfortable with asking anything from anyone, I've bitten the bullet and begun putting the feelers out for potential interviews and people willing to review the book.  And the response has been overwhelming.  Being one of the most disorganised people on the planet, I'm proper struggling to keep everything in order, lists, etc.  but I'm just about holding up.  Will be having a word with my eldest tomorrow, see if I can interest her in becoming my PA.  I know the answer, but it's worth a go.

Amongst the super kind people that have offered to interview me, is a one Mr Richard Godwin - he of Chin Wags at the Slaughterhouse fame.  I'm at the Slaughterhouse as we speak, and it's some kind of place, I can tell you.

There are also some really exciting potential developments going on, which I hope to tell you more about in the near future - if they come off.  If they don't, I'll keep em to meself.  It's better that way.

So, here we go.  Join me for the ride and lets see what we can make of this book, eh :)

  1. Good stuff. You're welcome at my place anytime!

  2. Good on yer for being so organised. And yes, I understand how difficult it is to put yourself forward - for me it means overcoming many years of being told to shut up, sit still and not offer opinions or 'show off'.

This happily coincides with me realising the time is right to overhaul my story blog and change the focus of it. I'm hoping to get lots of talented folk to pop in and talk about their stuff. You're on the list - obviously - and a certain Mr PDB might want to brace himself for an invite, too. :)

  3. Glad you're on the move. mate. Whatever I can do le'me know.
