It's Sixty-Word Thursday - Hurrah!

An English Hero
In the middle of the blustery High Street, amongst the swirling leaves and dancing chocolate wrappers, stands roadsweeper Sir Wimbledon Chuffington Finch (third class).

At the zenith of the storm, broom aloft, a gust of wind blows through his ears and straight out his arse. Yet, still, he stands, defiant, a hero of our times.

A hero for us all.

  1. Don't why I heard as a theme song in back of this story:Oranges and lemons, say the bells of St. Clement's. You owe me five farthings,
say the bells of St. Martin's.When will you pay me? say the bells of Old Bailey.
One the best uses of sixty words I've heard. Thanks.mate.
