These Noir Films . . . blimey they're good.

Those nice people at Love Film decided to send me Sunset Boulevard last week.  What a fantastic film that was.  And now I've just heard they're sending me 'The Third Man'.

Anyone seen it?

  1. Yep, it's fantastic. British noir. sort of. Written by Grham Greene. The director -carole reed, uncle of oliver- directed another greene story, the fallen idol, which is dead good, too.

  2. Cheers, mate. Mad thing. It just popped through the door, and that picture of Orson Wells on the front, standing in the doorway, staring like he's looking right into your soul just makes me want to put the thing on right away. Won't get to watch it till tomorrow night, but that's okay. I can wait.

Spongebob Squarepants lives in our telly, but that's okay. The waiting will make the watching all the better.
