Just got news a story of mine - 'Tomatoes' - has been accepted for the Halloween edition of the very cool and very classy 'Curbside Splendor'.

Fantastic :)

  1. Congratulations mate. You're going to have a busy year, writing wise, I can see!
Did you send anything for Radge5?

  2. Cheers, Paul. I sent a story back in July, for Radge 5 or whatever else BB wanted to use it for, but haven't heard anything. All quiet on the Byker Front, it seems.

  3. Many congrats! :)

I'm waiting to hear from the Byker boys, too - but I only sent my one on Sunday. Fingers crossed - it would be fun to share pages both sides of the pond!

  4. Cheers, Jools. That would be fun, wouldn't it :)

And with Andy's book coming out earlier in the year, and Tom's book out this week, it's been a busy enough time for the boys.

That waiting thing again. Just a case of being patient, having a clear head, and tapping the refresh button on the email every few seconds like the clicking of that mouse is the only thing makes sense in the world.

And lots of coffee . . . Loads of it.

  5. Excellent. All apples from now on, mate.

  6. Congrats on the story. I've never heard of Curbside Splendor--I'll have to check it out. Btw, I think we share an affinity for caffeine overload of the coffee variety.

  7. Congrats! That's excellent news.
