The value of a writing group

Thanks to the fantastic guys over at Crimeficwriters I've managed to finally complete a story called 'By the Dim and Flaring Lamps'.  Having not written a story for a couple of weeks, it was interesting to see how out of the game I was.  But the guys steered me right, and I'm really pleased with the outcome.  Just need to find a home for it now.  Thanks go to AJ Hayes, Chris Rhatigan, John Baird, Jim Harrington, Joe Prentis, and Steve Weddle.

Cheers guys.

  2. Damn fine friends indeed, David. Actually, David, as you're here, just wanted to ask you a question. I was considering sending the story over to BTAP, but wondered if workshopping it first would preclude me from doing so. Would that be the case?

  3. Send away. It just needs to be an original story. No promises but I am looking forward to what you have.
